When we first became aware of a complete rewrite for a new version of the software we were excited. Having said that, crashes were very infrequent and on the odd occasion support was needed it was always there. It also felt a bit clunky to use at times and the way things were saved was rather odd. The styling of ND1 seemed a bit old fashioned even when we first came across it four years ago. There were twelve updates to the original software, but some of the the biggest areas that were needing addressed would have to wait for a completely new version.įor us at GMI, it had a certain magic in the way the program looked and worked. The Evolution Of Neck Diagrams 1 Into ND2ĭespite ND1 being an excellent addition there were areas where it could definitely have been better, or changed for the better. All in all, ND1 was to remain, fundamentally, the same program for nine years. The amount of options that were actually available would and did take a little more time to find as they sometimes were not so obviously apparent. Most people would get to understand it within thirty minutes or so. The software was easy to use, if a little idiosyncratic at times. If you don’t want the funky orange color, simply print using only black ink to get light grey lines instead. These diagrams are all designed with thin and light lines, making them very easy to clearly write on top of. So I decided to design my own and make them available to you guys. The main one being that people seem to love designing these things with thick black lines, making them tricky to legibly write on.
